· Initial Conversation
Contact us through email or via phone to discuss your project. We will spend time discussing the details of the project as well as your intended budget. We will get as much out of the conversation as it pertains to the initial who, what, where, why, and how questions as they relate to the clients project.
· Meet & Greet
Our initial meeting is a chance to discuss the dreams you have for your project. This is a time to ask additional questions regarding the project and how we can assist in your project. Typically this meeting occurs in our office, your home, or on your property where the construction will take place. This meeting will also allow us to talk through your project in greater depth as well as view pictures, ideas, and/or other designs that have areas of interest to your project. This meeting will ultimately form a plan around budgets and moving forward with a design.

Working Together
· Design Process
The design process can often times be a very daunting challenge. At this time there are typically many unknowns, questions, and decisions that need to be made to go into a project. Our goal is to effectively guide you through the process of design, decision making, and the building process making it a positive and rewarding experience!
· Conceptual Design
Based on the existing site conditions and the notes from our Initial Conversation and our Meet & Greet, we will prepare a scope of work that coincides with the project. For existing structures, we will take “as-built” measurements to create drawings to have the starting point for any new plans. For new homes, we will get dimensions, style, and layout in order to move forward with a plan. We will then create a preliminary design with options as necessary for further review. Once the preliminary drawings are completed, we will meet to discuss the design and make revisions as necessary. The initial design phase will help to obtain a preliminary budget estimate for the project.
· Design Development & Final Design
During this phase, we will refine the conceptual drawing aligning it to your specific needs. Based on any revisions, we will create more detailed drawings to further define the scope, scale, and characteristics of the project. The final design drawings will include floor plans and elevations as well as 3-D exterior views of the project. During this timeframe, final selections will be made by the client on interior and exterior products and finishes that will affect the design and scope of work.
· Construction Documents
Upon approval of the design development drawings, construction drawings will be completed. These drawings will specify the details and dimensions of the project as they pertain to the scope of work and the site. The Construction Documents will include final floorplans, elevations, structural framing plans, roof plans, and sectionals as necessary. These documents will be used to obtain building permits, by lenders to obtain financing, and by the builder as a guideline on constructing the project.
